Weekends are the only time we get as a family of four. Just the four of us hanging out together, playing together and cuddling together. Now that fall is finally here, and the temperatures are finally dropping, we can take advantage of the fun fall activities like Linder Farms.
Just getting out the door takes a lot of planning and precision. Like today. We ended up back at the house just after leaving when we realized my diaper stash was depleted, and we had forgot Presley’s milk. Then, when we say we are going to be somewhere by 10, we really mean 11. It’s impossible to make it out the door with all of us intact when we need to. We have to subtract an hour to make up for the hour we lost just trying to leave the house, then calculate our actual time of arrival 10+1(-1)8*24= our arrival time. Not sure that even makes sense. So, off to Linder Farms we went!
After a trip back to the house, a quick coffee grab, we make it to the farm. This place was all that we expected, and we loved every minute. From the adorably hungry goats, chickens and sheep, to the four different pumpkin patches, to the bumpy hay ride, to the corn maze, to the barrel ride (poor tall Bill was so squished!) to the warm sugar donuts. Linder farms was the real deal and it was a blast!
Now we sit here in peace and quiet. Presley is up from her nap and we’re reading books, Tyler is at a friends house for a play date and Bill is watching soccer. Later today, we’re going grocery shopping. Don’t be jealous.
