It's hard to believe that we've been part of the local March of Dimes family for 8 years now. March of Dimes has been a big part of our lives since we moved here, and we've loved giving back to a community that saves premature babies every day. Friday was our day to say good bye. We are officially taking a break from fund raising and volunteering with the March of Dimes. It was a hard decision to make, but with our lives getting busier every day we had to remove something from our plate.. and unfortunately, this was one of the removals.
We've met so many amazing people on this adventure, heard a lot of miracle stories, made a lot of great life long friends. I'm so thankful for this opportunity, and what it has shown to my kids. Lessons you can't learn without being there to experience them first hand. I'm so grateful that Tyler could be an amazing example of how a preemie baby can be incredibly smart, healthy and athletic. I loved seeing his passion for this cause too.
Thank you to everyone who has supported us over the years, and helped us raise money for such an amazing organization. It really did mean the world to us!
On to the next! Cheers!
